Zoobles are a popular line of toys that are spring-loaded marbles that pop out into an animal when they touch a magnetic surface. So basically it’s Bakugan for girls. Now your kids can make Zoobles “spring to life” on Nintendo DS as they take care of their new pals and make more Zoobles friends!
“Boxer the Unboxer” Unboxes Otomedius Excellent Collector’s Edition (360)

Recently I got Otomedius Excellent, a 2-D shooter for the Xbox 360. It’s essentially a Gradius game with anime girl characters in it. The game comes in a Collector’s Edition, so here’s everyone’s favorite sock puppet puppy: Boxer the Unboxer, to ‘unbox’ and show everything you get in this special edition game!

Nick Jr. starlets Dora and Kai-Lan are taking care of lost pets and finding them good homes at their Pet Shelter. Kai-Lan’s grandfather and Dora’s cousin Diego the animal rescuer are here to lend a hand, too. Team UmiZoomi is a popular Nick Jr. cartoon about three tiny super heroes who use their mighty math powers to help people in the city. Now your child can join the team and learn math skills on an adventure. A rocket is missing some parts at the Astronaut Center, and it’s up to Team UmiZoomi, and your child, to help find the missing parts at the aquarium and playground in this adventure on the Nintendo DS.

An evil alien being is on the verge of taking over Earth, but a heroic extra-terrestrial gives you his power, Green Lantern style, to stop the invaders. Now with a super suit, you can outfit your Xbox 360 avatar and battle the bad guys with super punches, kicks, projectiles, and other powered up moves in this surprisingly good Kinect fighter!

Just a few short weeks ago, we sent our kid reporter on the scene (well, teenager now) to make his annual pilgrimage to BlizzCon (with his mom, of course). Here’s what he thought of the action…
On October 21-22, 2011, Anaheim, California was flooded with Blizzard fanatics from around the world, there to see Blizzard’s world renowned convention: BlizzCon! Every year thousands of people around the globe gather in the Anaheim Convention Center for a sneak peak at what Blizzard is engaged in at the time, complete with panels, demos, and free stuff. I was among the crowd, weaving my way through the masses, toward the convention center, speculating about the new World of Warcraft expansion that I had heard nothing about yet.
